Men don't want to date anymore

Men don't want to date anymore. 

This didn't come as a surprise, did it? 

Cavemen. 

They like to hunt. 

Not even that, they look after one thing, which is... sex. Clearly. 

What did you expect? 

Well, some look after being taken care of by an older woman. Sorry, by a wealthy woman. 

There are exceptions, of course. 

Loads? 

Probably, but not as many of these expectations are on the dating sites. These are otherwise engaged. 

I was lucky, there is a need to say that. 

My profile puts most men off. That, if they read it. 

Men want to have fun. 

Life is short, they say. We have to enjoy every moment. 

I couldn't agree more, but I do not appreciate the lack of a moral compass. 

We don't care about anything and anyone, then complain that this world is soulless. Complain about women and men not caring or breaking our hearts. 

Such hypocrites! 

Men don't like drama. 

Can you blame them? 

Who likes drama? 

What they really mean, is that they don't give a damn about feelings or issues. 

No. They just want to have fun, with no onus whatsoever. 

All the above and below apply to women too. Women are not angels either. 

But I will write about it/them/us in a future post. 

However, we are not all the same. Some men and women are going through life by inertia, some don't think at all, just act and take whatever they can from everything and everyone, without giving anything back. 

They leave these people empty-handed, with their hearts bleeding. Confused. Afraid. Without dignity. 

Men do not want to date, they just want to fill the emptiness they feel inside by sleeping with whoever falls in their trap.  

At least, some of these men say it upfront: no commitment. 

Not all do though. No. Loads of men and women just take advantage of those who still believe that humans have a heart. 

Some promise the sky with the stars, the moon or the sea, then forget about these promises that meant nothing to them. 

Leave, without looking back. To the next one, and the next and so forth until the end of time. 

What is wrong with that? 

Well, if you ask yourself that, it's clear you shouldn't be here. 

Men don't want to date anymore - it's a trend. 

It's been a trend for ages, we just ignored it. 

Men (and women) aim to live this life with no effort, no responsibilities, no soul. 

But can we really blame them? 

What is the purpose of life? 

I really don't like writing about these things. 

It's the first time in my life that I feel this way. 

This means I shouldn't be wasting my time writing something that nobody cares about. Not even me. 

There must be a perfectly reasonable reason I opened this blog. 

I just don't know it yet. 

Fewer and fewer humans act like humans. 

Or maybe that is how we were in the beginning. 

Have you ever thought of that? 

Maybe that's how we were created to be: cruel and selfish.
